[시사뉴스 김대우 기자] 포항상공회의소(회장 문충도)는 2월 13일(월) 오후 3시 상공회의소 2층 회의실에서 대구·경북지방중소벤처기업청, 포항시와 공동으로「2023년 중소기업 지원사업 찾아가는 설명회」를 개최하였다.

대구⋅경북지방중소벤처기업청을 비롯한 포항시, 중소벤처기업진흥공단, 경상북도경제진흥원, 경북지식재산센터 등 5개의 중소기업 지원기관이 공동 참여한 이날 설명회에서는 지역 중소기업 임·직원들이 참석하여 각 기관별로 중소기업 지원사업에 대해 상세하게 설명을 듣는 자리를 마련하였다.

또한, 분야별(자금, 특허, 인력, 수출 및 판로개척, 보증, R&D 등)로 별도의 상담창구가 운영되어 각 기업이 필요한 문의사항에 대해 현장에서 바로 질의·응답이 가능하도록 진행되었다.

이날 설명회를 개최한 포항상공회의소 관계자는 “이번 설명회를 통해 광범위한 중소기업 지원정책에 대한 이해도를 높여 내수경기 악화와 원자재 가격 상승 등으로 많은 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역 중소기업들의 경영정상화와 경쟁력이 보다 더 강화되는 기회가 되었으면 한다”라고 밝혔다.

The Pohang Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Moon Chung-do) held a briefing session on the "2023 SME Support Program" in collaboration with the Daegu and Gyeongbuk SMEs Agency and Pohang City on February 13 (Monday) at 3 p.m. in the conference room on the second floor of the chamber.

Five SME support organizations, including the Daegu and Gyeongbuk SMEs Agency, Pohang City, the Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion Agency, Gyeongsangbuk-do Economic Promotion Agency, and the Gyeongbuk Intellectual Property Center, jointly participated in the briefing session, where executives and employees of local SMEs attended and received detailed explanations of SME support projects by each organization.

In addition, separate consultation centers were operated for each field (funding, patents, manpower, export and market development, guarantee, R&D, etc.

An official from the Pohang Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which held the briefing session, said, "We hope that this briefing session will serve as an opportunity for local SMEs, which are experiencing many difficulties due to the deterioration of the domestic economy and rising raw material prices, to normalize their business and strengthen their competitiveness by increasing their understanding of a wide range of SME support policies."
